Complete 45' Scragg Sawmill with log deck and cut-off saw for 22" Dia. including 575 V, 3 phase motors and electrical panels included:
Evans Short Log Scragg Mill
First Saw:
- Bottom arbor has (2) 34" blades on a 2 1/8" shaft with a 50HP electric motor.
- Top arbor has (2) 18" blades on a 2" shaft powered by a 20HP motor.
- Air activated bottom saw width setup for 4" and 6".
- Carriage chain with 3.5" pitch links consisting of dogs spaced at 10".
- 11" slab conveyor frame on both sides on a 6" belt powered by a 2 HP electric motor.
- Second Saw with 28" blades on a 2 1/8" shaft powered by a 50HP electric motor.
- Air activated saw dimensions (4",6" & 8").
- Saw line dimensions 42' long x 40" high x 8" wide with 8" channel frame and 4" channel legs.
Chop Saw with Line Feed Deck:
- Whole Log Chop Saw Line with 18' long x 6' wide x 5' high log deck with double 4" channel legs.
- Electric motor and gearbox.
- Hourglass log live rollers (24"X12") on a 1 5/8 shaft with 18" and 24" centers.
- Sitting in a 36" X 18' frame constructed with 6" channel with a heavy-duty hydraulic log kicker.
- Air operated log clamp holders.
- Chop saw unit: 18" max. cut powered by a 30 HP electric motor.
- Comes with numerous 34" blades.
- Control box.
- Hydraulic reservoir and pump powered by a 5 HP electric motor.
- Includes three (3) 30 amp and (1) 60 amp electrical boxes plus switches, and hoses.
- Comes with chain conveyor including a 30" air activated log transfer powered by a
2 HP electric motor. (dimensions: 12' long x 31 " wide x 42" high).
- 6" channel frame with 4" channel legs.
- Mini log transfer deck: (dimensions: 9.3' long x 31 " wide x 41 " high).
- Chain feed operated with a 2HP electric motor.
NOTE:
- Unit is dismantled and stored in an enclosed trailer ready for inspection.
- The equipment was installed new in our plant new at 1982. All equipment was operational
however the Plant decided to discontinue the round wood operations.
- It is sold "As is - Where is" not inspected by Processco.
